About:

I wrote this little guide when explaining to my JK2 Clan, =Darth=, on how to appear in public and how to uphold
a good reputation for the clan. I have modified and edited the documents into this short guide. This just includes
tips and ways to appear more professional and less of an amateur. These tips are not guaranteed to give you the exact
results you wish for. But they will make your appearance a lot more appealing to the eye. Following the tips in this
guide does not ensure you the results you might want. I do not promise you anything. I want to make it clear that
I am not forcing or telling you to do the things mentioned in this guide. I am not liable for any bad results or
outcomes from the advice in this guide and do not claim responsibility for your actions or statements buy you
following the tips in this guide. You perform these tips and ideas at your own risk and expense. You dont
have to do any of these things if you feel they are not right or have any problem with any of them. These tips
and ideas are not required to become a good player or to be able to get into a clan, or win a game. These tips
and ideas only make you look good. They will not win a game for you. Your skill depends on that. And for good
player that have mastered their skills, these might be some tactics you could add onto your style and techniques.

NOTE: Not all of the tips, moves, tricks, etc., contained in this guide and Dustins LT & SG will work due to the
1.03 Patch just released. IF this DL is popular enough, I might continue to add updates to it.

Your Appearance:

Your appearance and persona represents you. If you are stupid or disturbing then you will earn a bad reputation
(Excessive cursing, racial, sexual, or religious, slurs, insults, and sick comments). You need to act as professional
as you can. Swift moves, deactivation of the Lightsaber when not used. Performing tricks and cool moves. Act like you
know what your doing and are confident in yourself. Never let your opponent know what your thinking or feeling. Also
if you stay determined people will see it and it will impress them of your unbending determination and professionalism.

Superiority Complex:

A superior persona can be used two different ways. It is encouraged as long as it tolerable by others, and does not
involve extreme comments or actions. Let them know youre the best and make it obvious with your comments and actions.
Say things in a short and simple, but straight-to-the-point. Like Hello. Instead of Oh hi there in new here, gosh
this game is exciting You just sound like a babbling tourist at some weird carnival.

The Bow:

Remember you should bow at times and not at others. Bow, when facing your opponent, the first round of a match.
If the fraglimit is 1, then you will only have to bow once. If they suck, have a bad attitude, or you just dont
like them, then dont give them a second of your time If they are a formidable opponent, and you admire or respect
them, then bowing before each round. A lot of time, people will run to higher ground, like in duel_bay, on the catwalk.
That is another dueling area. Sometimes in the middle of a fight you or your opponent might flee to this area. When you
or he finally get to you, and a new duel begins, the customary thing to do is bow before each sub-duel with in turn.
You dont bring people martinis with little olives, they bring them to youor they dont.

Choosing A Good Skin:

You should choose a skin, or type of skin (Reborn, Stormtroopers, Imps, etc). As you progress, you will be recognized
by your skin. If you want to look like an idiot, then choose skins like: Uggnaught, Gran, Prisoner, Rebel, Reelo,
Rodian, or Weequay. These guys all need facelifts and look like circus clowns. You want a good, cool skin. A Stormtrooper,
Imperial Officer, Reborn, Dasann, Tavion, Galak, Spirit, perhaps Kyle (is the default skin though), a Trandoshan, etc.

Choosing A Lightsaber Color:

This is a difficult one. You want to use a default one to get the best performance. You have Blue, Red, Green, Yellow,
Gold, Fuchsia, and Purple. Blue is good, Lukes first Lightsaber. But it being his first, and him being an untrained
novice, a blue saber might reflect this. Red, the color of the Sith. Red is my favorite but I rarely use it. Everyone
uses red. Its common and not unique anymore. Green, a beautiful color. Skywalkers saber when he faced Vader and The
Emperor on the second Death Star. But then just like the red, it is a common color. Yellow, the color of that alien
catfish-thing in the Jedi Council in Star Wars: Ep. 1 TFM. And you might know it from the Jedi Power Battles game.
Gold, the color I use with my many reborn skins. Gold is a nice color, not as ugly as yellow or as common as green.
Fuchsia, an eye catching color, but a more sissy color at that. Purple, a nice dark, royal color.

Choosing Taunts:

Taunts are a major part of any online game. They are sneaky, clever, funny, and sometimes insulting. Taunts can range
of anything from quotes from a movie or person, to just inside joke content. Remember racial, religious, sexual, etc.
taunts will make you hated by people for being a, well you know You can bind taunts to many keys or a lot to a single
key that cycle through each one. I bind a taunt + the gesture taunt so that my skin gestures when I hit a taunt key and
the taunt is displayed.

Clans:

Oh Lord this is a big topic so I will make it brief. There are several types of clans out there: Pro, Novice, Fun, Hate,
Non-Req, etc.

*Pro Clans: Pro clans like mine, =Darth=, are groups of elite players, the very best. They strive for improvement and
compete in leagues and major matches. They boast professionalism, skill, cunning, tactics, and out right moves to beat
their enemies. Out of all the types of clans, Pro Clans are the hardest to get into. They usually require a vigorous
tryout with many tests, lots of practices, and are very, very prestigious. There are not very many real Pro Clans.
They try to get all of the good players.

*Novice Clans: Like my last clan in EF, [TDM], novice clans are those that have average to above average players, and
have matches with other novice clans. They usually dont stand a chance in a league or tournament so they usually keep
away from those sort of things. Novice Clans sometimes envy Pro Clans and their skills and constant victory. They also
become frustrated playing with a Pro and end up leaving the server after a few rounds or deaths, frustrated and stressed.
Novice Clans get their sense of superiority by conquering noobies and high pingers. They search for servers that have
Padawans (or default named), and colorless named people with out clan looking tags. They try to be the pro on the server
until a real one shows up, then they leave. You can tell a novice, even if they have a very high score from killing
noobies. As soon as they get beat several times by a pro, it is obvious that they are a novice and their score is high
from n00b slaughtering. They then leave.

*Fun Clans:

These guys are here just to have a good time and play together. They usually have very few guidelines and no sense of
uniformity as far as tag colors and locations come. They dont compete in leagues and some never have matches.

Hate Clans:

These are the ones you need to look out for. These are the guys that feel the need to hate and hurt others. They most
commonly come in 3 categories: Prejudice, Religious, and Racal. Nazi, Anti-Black or Asian, and Anti-Jew or Anti-Christian.
They go about preaching about hating these thing because they are inferior or wrong. Some clans just look for trouble and
try to disrupt alliance and friendships of others. Most Hate Clan hide their true motives to save themselves from total
rejection of the community. They create problems or accuse others of crimes or wrong doings so they have a valid excuse
for hating them. A lot of members in Hate Clans are not aware of their clans real motives and are mislead. They are given
excuses and lies to get them to hate the enemy without even meeting them in person. Or sometimes they are so out of
touch or non-active in the clan that they do not know. These types of clans are the ones that other clans target for
destruction. My last clan in EF, [TDM], had disbanded several Hate Clans, by giving them an ultimatum such as: the
attack of all other clans, or legal action, or other means. Just threats, so they get scared and leave.

Non-Req Clans:

Now Ill be very careful not to name any names, but in EF there was one clan that on its website said: All you have to
do is put the [****] tag on and your in! No tryouts or anything. So many people join just to feel included that they
never even meet or know nothing about each other. These types of clans are looked down upon as an embarrassment to the
name clan, by clans that work hard to keep a level of skill and the fact that not anyone can join makes them more
skilled and rounded.

Other Tips:

You should help others of course but dont let your kindness be taken as a joke or a weakness. Stand your ground.
Try not to run if at all possible. Be on the offense, control the match not be controlled. Constantly use your skills
and unique moves and traits to become recognized by all. Make trademarks for yourself. Mine (Lord Hatrus), are blue
stance, random but controlled attacks with a furry of intense and but fluid moves. The Blue Backstab, The Yellow Saber
Swing, and the Yellow One-Handed Saber Flip. I never swing my saber when there is nothing to hit, nor do I fire a gun
wait I dont even use guns! Nothing makes me want to rip your head off more then when I see guns in duels!
Make yourself look good out there. Your capable of just standing still, face-off, and wait for their attacks. Make cool
moves live wall walking, flips, and tricks. Dont convulse or move crazily when not being attacked. It looks like your
a bot. Do impressive response moves like, waiting for the last second to attack, standing still as your opponent tests
you then when you've had enough foreplay, strike them down quickly, professionally, and remember, REMAIN COOL AT ALL TIMES!!
Don't act stressed or you will appear frightened and confused. Never give up and never cry about losing. Oh and try not
to rub it "too much" in their faces if they lose ;)

Individuality:

Unlike many pro clans, My clan, =Darth=, believes in individuality and uniqueness. We are pro, we have our own styles
and moves. Discover your style and moves and persona and let that represent you. Vader was known for choking people
and for passively deflecting attacks with coolness and ease, before annihilating his victims. Make trademarks like
choking then slicing, or wall walking then slicing, or push pull kill tactics; Even text taunts can make you known
or respected along with your skill. Be wise and clever. Never use the force excessively, thats the sign of a novice.
A pro never reverts to cheap kills. Dont kill someone if the dont move or say they will be right back. Anyone can
hit a statue. Develop special traits for yourself. And as weapons go: I don't want to ever catch a single one of you
shooting a gun at anyone when you around me in a duel. Guns are for wimps and those that cannot harness the saber.
The saber and the force should be the only things you bring to a duel. Of course there are times when you can have fun
and play with cheats and all guns and tricks and stuff and fool around. But never in a serious match or duel! You should
mean business! Your not here to admire the grass, you're here to cut it.
